About the position of Technical Product Manager at LCS Container Solutions

In the role of Technical Product Manager, you will have overall responsibility for continuously developing and managing a competitive product portfolio of standard solutions within our business area of Special Containers and developing solutions together with and for our customers. You are responsible for specifying and cost-calculating solutions that support our offerings to customers based on their needs and wishes.

You will also be out with customers together with commercial functions and act as a technical expert in customer dialogues. In close collaboration with other colleagues within Special Containers, you will drive technical solutions and ensure quality throughout the process flow through correct documentation and products.

A central part of the role is to create conditions for the remaining part of the organization and contribute to efficient and qualitative manufacturing.

The position is located at our office in Arendal, Gothenburg, and you will report to the Business Area Manager for Special Containers.

Your main responsibilities:

• Take ownership of creating and continuously developing a competitive product portfolio of standard solutions for Special Containers.
• Develop customer- and order-specific solutions in close dialogue and collaboration with the customer's designers and/or needs owners.
• Responsible for calculating costs for specified solutions and supporting responsible salespeople in inquiry and quotation processes.

About you

To succeed in this role, you likely have a technical education from a university or vocational school. You have previously encountered CAD drawings and have experience in portfolio management, product development, and production preparation. Furthermore, you speak Swedish and English fluently.

As a person, you have a strong inner drive and are happy to take overall responsibility for your work. You thrive in a broad role where you can work independently and develop technical solutions. You are proactive, constantly striving to improve both processes and results, and you ensure that things get done.

Important for the position are:

• Technical education from a university or vocational school
• Background and experience from either the construction industry or mechanical/manufacturing industry from a small or medium-sized company.
• Experience with modules within Containers, or in similar production such as steel, metal, or processing in a broad role.
• Good knowledge of CAD drawing for product and manufacturing design.
• Good knowledge of portfolio management, product development, and production preparation.
• Good knowledge of pre- and post-calculation.
• Swedish and English in speech and writing.
